I am a huge reader and always have a book or books on the go. My day ends with a good book and sometimes begins with it too. Reading for me is one of life's great pleasures.
When we decided to add this forum on books and links , I thought about the hundreds of books I have read. However I decided to add just a few here and I hope others will add some of their favourites too.
We have literally thousands of books in our home and even locating some of my favourites was not easy! However I will have a go!
When I was in my early twenties I discovered the books about Edgar Cayce. His books helped me remember the past and I was engrossed with them. I think my favourite back then was one called Edgar Cayce on Atlantis. As I read it everything fell into place, I remembered so many things though his channelled information.
After that I think i read most of those books. The Story of Edgar Cayce There is a river was beautiful. Years later I read another - Edgar Cayce My Life as a seer, The lost memories compiled by A Robert Smith. The last book I will mention of his was Edgar Cayce's Story of the bible by Robert W Krajenke. This went through the books of the bible and the stories and insights Edgar Cayce shared. It was fascinating. He also put the bible into perspective when he described the whole book as being a metaphor for one life.
Over the years I just could not stop reading philosophy and esoteric material.
One book that stands out for me is The Emerald tablets of Thoth The Atlantean. Translated and interpreted by Doreal.
After I read it,I wrote in the inside cover: To anyone who reads this book: it is a great treasure, a gift of knowledge. it could be read for years and not fully understood, however, the best way to read it is not with the mind but with your heart. In this way, its truth settles into your bones and creates its truth - a deep understanding of mans journey and that of the soul.
There are many versions of this book, I have two and the one I like is the book created for The Flower of Life Students through Drunvalo. Each page is divided into two columns, the left side is the literal translation, the right is an interpretation by Doreal of its meaning. For me, this is the most profound esoteric book and its frequency is very high. Thoth was a great mystic and a scribe and leader in Atlantis and then Egypt. He has had many faces but is said to be one of the Eternal Ones.
The last book I will mention today is The book of knowledge - The Keys of Enoch By JJ Hurtak. This is a deeply philosophical book with with sacred teachings.
Please share your books here. I may add more later
